Pembroke Park is located in southwestern Broward County, Florida, the United States, and it’s part of the South Florida metropolitan area. Pembroke Park, located near Pembroke Pines, Florida, is found at 25°59′04″N 80°10′38″W. The town’s name comes from its position along Pembroke Road.
It’s a modest community, with about half of its population living in mobile homes. The area used to be home to nurseries, quarries, and mobile homes park. Pembroke Park with a total area of 1.6 square miles was formed on December 10, 1957. Six-tenth of a mile of the area is lakes. The beauty of Pembroke Park is enhanced by beautiful lakes that were formed from former rock quarries.
The town commission laid out a plan for progressive development and growth in Pembroke Park, offering a model for orderly expansion. This with the help of the “Comprehensive Land Use Plan” in 1989. With the 17 mobile home parks of the area, four are dedicated to recreational vehicle camping. The number of mobile homes maintains a fairly steady rate. While on the western outskirts of town, you’ll find a variety of new residences, villas, and apartment complexes.
Despite the development in the area, the town leaders created a Planning Consultant along with the Planning and Zoning Board to ensure the safety of the structures and maintain the quality of life of the residents. The authorities work together for Pembroke Park for its vibrancy and beauty in the South Broward community.
Pembroke Park’s excellent accessibility is one of its most significant advantages. It is southwest of Hallandale Beach and Hollywood.
