The Chapel Trail Nature Preserve is a 450-acre preserve that was established in the 1990s and covers an expansive area. It is located at 19800 Sheridan St, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33029, United States. The Wetland ecosphere is one of the popular attractions here. It is home to 120 species of birds, alligators, snakes, largemouth bass, different insects, and more animals.
There is a picnic table and water fountain available at the trailhead. You can spend time here to rest and just take the moment and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
It includes a 1,650-foot long boardwalk, canoe rentals available during Saturday, and a pavilion for observation. There is no admission fee so you’ll get to enjoy the vicinity for free. There is however a fee for canoe rentals, 7$ per hour to 25$ per day.
The entrance to the trail gives access to the canoe rental. There are pond apples that grow near the canoe launch.
It’s open from 8 AM to 6 PM. Bicycles, pets, and skateboards are not allowed.
